Original 1950s 50s Vintage Hot Pink Velvet Half Hat

This gorgeous little hat was made from hot pink velvet in the 1950s. In classic 1950s style, it sits loosely on the crown of the head and is held in place with the wired ‘ears’ at the sides which can be pinned to the hair for extra security. Inside, it is lined in gold and bears the maker’s label for Gene Doris New York. 

Due to the style of the hat, it suits a variety of head sizes. 

The hat is in very good condition with only a few grazes and a small area of exposed wire as pictured.
