This beautiful gown was made from a brown crepe in the 1930s. The garment features a stunning cape like draping across the shoulders which extends down to the elbow and is intricately beaded. From under the bust to waist, the dress has a panel of decorative pleating. The waist can be cinched in with a matching fabric tie belt. The skirt flows loosely from the waist and is decorated with a triangular panel at the front.

The dress is in good condition, however there are some small holes (the largest most noticeably to the back of the belt), a worn under strap and some staining to the bust as pictured.
