This breathtaking coat was made from navy blue wool in the late 1920s / early 1930s. This coat features truly impeccable tailoring and was designed in the classic straight cut of the period with an asymmetrical two button closure. The large bishop sleeves taper down to tight fitting cuffs with a chevron seam detail and a button on each cuff and there is a functional slit pocket at the waist. The stunning and intricate fan shaped collar adds a wonderful design detail to the coat. Inside, the coat is lined in satin, has a waist tie for optimal fit and a maker’s label for Hirshmoor.

The coat is in very good condition with only a few small areas of wear as pictured. The original belt is no longer present, the Union label has worn away and there is wear to the buttons.
