This beautifully elegant swing coat was made from a black wool in the 1940s. The neckline and front of the coat is trimmed with a black astrakhan fur, which has been framed with a delicate soutache surround in a circular pattern. At the neckline there is a single button fastening and the coat has functional waist pockets. Inside, the coat is lined with a good quality patterned satin and has a maker’s label for Hutzler Brothers.

The coat is in good condition. The astrakhan trim is showing wear and beginning to fray in places, however the wool section of the coat is in good condition.
