This gorgeous coat was made from an olive coloured wool in the 1940s. It is cut in a classic swing style with a single hook closure. The coat has strong padded shoulders with a loose fit below. The collar has been trimmed with beautiful rich honey coloured fur, which runs all the way down the lapels to the hem. The fur trim cleverly disguises the functional slit pockets at the waist. Inside, the coat is lined in brown crepe and does not have any maker’s labels.

The coat is in very good condition with only a few marks and nibbles as pictured. There is also a small area of damage to the fur but this is disguised by its fluffiness.
