Original 1930s 30s Vintage Chocolate Brown Asymmetric Wool Coat With Fur Collar

This wonderful coat was made in the 1930s from a lightweight brown wool. This garment is cut in an asymmetric wrap over style with a single line of six buttons down the wearer’s left hand side together with a tie waist. As you would expect from a coat from this decade, the coat has puff shoulders with strong padding inside. The coat also boasts a brown coney fur collar which elegantly adds to the look. Inside, it is lined in satin and is maker’s without labels. 

Shoulders: 14” seam to seam 

Bust: 36”

Waist: 30” but can be cinched with waist tie

Hips: 40”

Length: 38”

The coat is in good condition, however there is some faint staining as pictured. There are also some small holes as well as some small bald spots to the fur, although we think they may be due to the change in direction of the pile.
