These beautiful gloves were made from white leather in the 1930s. They were fashioned in a distinctive gauntlet style with a beautiful pleated detail decorating the large gauntlet section at the sides of the cuffs. Three lines of embroidery decorate the back of the hand, with the central line adding a further elaborate detail to the gloves. There is a makers mark stamped on the inside of the gloves but this is very difficult to read.
Size: The gloves are labelled a size 6 1/2 inside, which feels like a tight but correct fit on my hand
The gloves are in fair condition with some general grubbiness, a few marks and seam strains / small seam breaks and some missing sections of embroidery as pictured.
