Original 1940s 40s Vintage Red And Green Plaid Dress With Glass Buttons
This stunning day dress was made in the 1940s from cotton in a red, green, white, black and yellow plaid pattern. It is cut in the classic 1940s hourglass silhouette with a tightly nipped waist and sweet little puff sleeves. The huge collar marks the beginning of a row of three fabulous red glass buttons which fasten the dress at the bust. There is also a metal side zipper for easy access. The dress features functional pockets at the hips and a large inverted pleat at the front of the skirt gives it wonderful movement.

Waist: 30” (could be belted for a tighter fit)

Shoulders: 15 1/2” seam to seam
Length: 42 3/4” plus 1” hem
The dress is in very good condition with only a slight seam pop as pictured. There is also some barely noticeable yellowing at the shoulder and a small hole that has been expertly patched.
