Gorgeous Original Late 1940s 40s / Early 1950s 50s Volup Vintage Dusty Rose Pink Boucle Swing Coat
This fabulous coat was made from a dusty rose boucle wool in the late 1940s / early 1950s. It was cut in the classic swing coat silhouette with lightly padded shoulders and a loose, voluminous fit below. Whilst beautiful sun ray darting adorns the front of the neckline as well as the back of the coat, the small collar leads to a single row of four gorgeous triangle plastic buttons. Hidden slit pockets at the waist and large turn up cuffs on the sleeves finish this stunning coat of in style. inside, it is lined in red acetate but does not have any maker’s labels.
Bust: 44” but intended to be worn loosely
Shoulders: flexible due to the raglan sleeves

The coat is in very good condition with only some wear to the lining as pictured which is not visible when worn. The right pocket lining has become detached on one side.
