This incredible suit was made from fuchsia pink wool in the 1940s. It is so wonderfully bright and vibrant, a real stand out piece. The suit was cut in the classic hourglass silhouette of the period with strong padded shoulders and a nipped waist. The simple collarless neckline really allows those strong shoulders to shine and the blazer fastens with a single row of four buttons. Large patch pockets adorn the waist and the inside is lined in sumptuous pink satin with a maker's label for Rosenblum of Seattle. The matching skirt was cut in a gentle A line and features stunning and unusual fabric detailing heat the waistband. It fastens with an original metal side zipper and button closure above.
